Chinni Jayanth [1]is a very popularTamil comedian actor who prominently plays supporting roles. Appearing in many Tamil films, he is also a regular guest judge on Asathapovathu Yaaru on Sun TV in Chennai.[1] CHINNI JAYANTH (TAMIL) born on 26th July (birth name Krishnamurthy Narayanan) is a Tamil film Actor/Director/Producer and world famous Mimicry Artist. He holds the unique distinction of being the only artist to balance Cinema, Television and Stage Performances with equal ease. Unique Style of Acting He carved a niche for himself with his unique style of comedy which included the creation of some unique words like gilfans,silfans etc which became a rage among the youth ...His supporting roles in movies like Kizhaku vasal,Idhayam,Kan ethire thondrinal ,Chinna pulla etc have been widely appreciated by the audience. Early Life Chinni Jayanth is an alumnus of Wesley High School, Chennai .He went on to study at New College, Royapettah .He then completed his Acting course (Diploma in Film Technology,DFTech ) from the Madras Film Institute in Taramani . Debut He started his acting career in 1984 playing the eccentric villain in Super Star ‘Rajnikanth s movie ‘Kai Koduum Kai ‘ directed by the legendary Mahendran. Mimicry' Chinni Jayanth is also a world famous mimic.He has the ability to mimic not just great personalities but can mimic the actions and gestures of many animals and real life characters like the vendors also.He has performed all over the world. Direction and Production Chinne Jayanth's performance in Chinna Pulla (1994) along with Revathy was appreciated by one and all. In the movie he plays an mentally challenged person.This movie was also the first production of his company ‘Ashtalakshmi Creators” His first directional venture was 'Unakaga Mattum' The recently released 'Kaanal Neer'had introduced J.K.Rithesh and Manisha Chatterjee in lead roles. Chinni Jayanth has also anclored many hit shows in differnt channels like 'Sagalai vs Ragalai 'and 'Kalakka povathu yaar' on Vijay tv. Awards He won the Film Fans Association- Commendation award for 'Unakkaga Mattum' in 2000. Has won the Indian Movies-Singapore Award for Best Comedy Actor Has got Felicitation from The Mayor of Toronto for his performance .
