Bharat Jadhav Biography
Bharat Jadhav started his career in 1985 when he joined Maharashtrachi Lok Dhara dance troupe under the guidance o0f Sahir Sable. He started with plays like ‘Shrimant Damodarpant’, ‘All The Best’ and ‘Amchyasarkhe Aamhich’. But he achieved fame with the super-hit p-lay ‘Sahi Re Sahi’ which is still running after it premiered six years back. The success of this play gained him an entry into films and he has had successful films lke ‘Jatra’, ‘Sade Made Teen ‘, ‘Mumbaicha Dabewalla’, ‘Bakula Namdev Ghotale’, ‘Mukhyamantri Ganpya Gawde’, ‘Galgale Nighale’, etc.
He is a bankable star now commanding a high price and films are sold on his name. The son of a simple mill worker from a lower middle class family from Parel has reached high heights today. But he hasn’t lost touch with theater and does plays like ‘Time Pass’ and ‘Sahi Re Sahi’. Recently he attempted a serious role in the controversial Mahesh Manjrekar film ‘Shiksanachya Aicha Gho’ which was appreciated.
His forthcoming films include ‘Ringa Ringa’,‘Kalshekar Aahet Ka’ ‘Kay Karu Na Kasu Karu’ etc. The down to earth affable star is certainly an one man industry today.
